The beauty blogs are abuzzing over the beautiful Tara P. Henson (actress, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) who showed up at an event with loose powder still under her eyes.
A quick bit of info: loose powder is normally put under your eyes before applying heavy eye makeup, so that if any makeup falls, the loose powder ‘catches’ any mistakes, that you can sweep off after applying all your eyemakeup. (As opposed to applying your makeup and having mascara or eyeshadow spilling down to your cheeks, which is harder to remove).
This photo made me think of any makeup and beauty mishaps you’ve ever had. We talked about our past beauty mistakes, but what about mistakes you knew nothing about?
The only thing I can remember is that long ago (before I met Virtuose, the love of my life) my mascara would always run down my face. One particular night I came home to find a big blob or black mascara under my right eye, which was then smudged alittle down my cheek. I was at a gathering and photos were taken, so I asked my then boyfriend why didn’t he tell me about it, but apparently guys really are clueless, because he didn’t even notice it. D’oh! Embarassing indeed.
Anyway, back to Tara – who’s to blame? Her makeup artist for forgetting, or herself? Who doesn’t take a quick look in the mirror before they go to an important event? Yikes!

The only one on top of my head is that I used to think cheap blue cream eyeshadow was a good idea. I was around 12 or so, so it’s excusable, but I still cringe!

Haha the things we did when we were 12 :-P I remember green colored nails when I was 12. However they were most of the mucus colored green. Looked gross! :-P

ummm i dont think thats her loose powder that she forgot to wipe off!! (which sure is funny) BUT its her concealer thats too light in colour and is reflecting off light…its very common..ive seen alot of celebrities with white…under-eyes…they look perfectly normal on TV but in pictures(when the flash is on) their under eyes look WHITE !!
Yeah! Hmm… Regardless if it’s powder or concealer they should’ve got a more matching color, or at least blend a bit, haha. Poor girl, she still looks beautiful, though!
