Michael Kors has released Very Hollywood, a new sophisticated floral for women. Look at that ad campaign, how glamourous-looking! (Although I should probably say that Hollywood isn’t always that grand!)
Kors says it’s “the most glamourous, indulgent scent we’ve ever done. It’s like a great little black dress. It’s simple, but it’s also obvious that there’s a lot of work went into it.’”
Notes include mandarin, iced bergamot, wet jasmine, ylang ylang and creamy amber and gardenia. I tried this out as a teaser at the department store, and I’m happy to say that Very Hollywood is very nice! It’s a very light, floral scent that isn’t overpowering at all. It smells very feminine, and when I first smelt it, I really thought of the color of the bottle – light, soft pink.
I’m not sure if I can see this at a glamourous Hollywood red carpet, but I can see this on as a light, everyday feminine scent. What’s also cool is that Very Hollywood will also be made into a solid perfume in a cocktail ring, and scented ballpoint pen – you know, so when you sign your autograph for your adoring fans, they can smell you too. Sounds like fun, no? Try it out yourself!

As a perfume junkie I thank you for your review!
I love the adjectives they add on to the scent to make it sound exotic and glamorous, how exactly does “wet jasmine” differ from dry jasmine? lol and iced bergamot?
But, what’s life without a little drama?
