I'm glad it helped! One other thing is that I buy the Twinlab brand. I tried the generic store brand at GNC once and it gave me bad indigestion (am I really telling the world this on a blog?? :) ). Not sure why because it's supposed to be just the vitamin c with "no fillers' even in the store brand but all I know is that for me personally I have to use the twinlab that costs an extra couple of bucks. YMMV

Hey Beth, thanks so much for your comment! I'm glad to have found someone who had the same problem with me! I think at worse I counted I had 13 mouth ulcers after a week of drinking a Vit C drink. My mouth was on FIRE, it was so painful! :( I also tried a Vitamin C "candy" that also caused ulcers, so I think it will be the pills for me then! :) I agree on what you say - maybe a "shot" of a 1000mg Vit C drink at one time isn't good for us, hence the ulcers.

Next on my shopping list: Vitamin C PILL of 500mg.

Thanks for your info, Beth, it did help a lot! :)

I get ulcers like that too but I found a way that works for me. I tried using a Vitamin C drink once and got ulcers within a week and had to stop. Now I take a 500mg capsule every morning with breakfast and I haven't had any trouble with ulcers. I've been doing it for over a year now. I started experimenting with adding in another 500mg capsule at dinner and still no problems. I think it's a combination of the lower amount (500mg vs 1000mg in the drink) and the fact that it's a capsule. Hope that helps!

Hi Renee! Great article on vitamin C. I like to use it on everything, tea, mineral water and even on the hair mask I've invented for my oily hair. I dunno if you remember but I've made a post about that a long time ago and lemon can really do a great job by making my hair to not look so oily. :)
