Taylor Swift is so smart. First she sings about her loser ex boyfriends and bash them in interviews, then she gives out beauty advice! I officially love her.
Here are some of the makeup advice she’s been spilling in different mags:
- “I love any eye shadow in bright colors. My beauty tip would be to wet down the brush before you put the eye shadow on because it makes the color way more vibrant.” — In Touch Weekly
- “If you’re wearing read lips, go for an almost nude eye and vice versa. You don’t want to be that girl who has heavy eye makeup on!” – Girlfriend
- “If you have really light eyes like I do, a variety of eyeliners are a must! Just using a simple liner pencil is a quick and easy way to highlight your eyes, and you can play around with crazy colors for a fun look. I like black mascara (her favorite is Chanel Inimitable) because it makes my eyes look more dramatic … just make sure it’s waterproof.” — Seventeen
Do you agree with any of her tips? I sure do! I agree with all of them although I personally don’t like waterproof mascara too much!

I loveeeeee fun colors too!
Not a big fan of waterproof mascara as well. Too much trouble trying to remove them. :p

And too much lashes that get pulled out! Only used one waterproof mascara in highschool and everytime I’d remove it I’d have at least 4 lashes pulled out with it … too much stress for me!
Those are great tips. I love bright eyeshadows too
Aren’t they
I am starting too, too. Especially greens…!
You know, I never really liked Taylor Swift’s eye makeup. I think it makes her eyes look squinty and way too small. If she toned down the eyeliner, I think her eyes would look way bigger. But I’m not sure, I don’t pay much attention to her.
I def think if you have small eyes (like myself!) you shouldn’t be underlining your eyes so tightly, especially the waterline, which I’ve seen she’s done before. Oh well, I still think she’s beautiful and her makeup is cool!
That’s alright, lol. I think a better way of me phrasing it is: I like her makeup, but not on her.
