Nina Ricci

Ricci Ricci is an urban heroine.
She is glamorous and audacious.
She has a secret power: her fragrance,
symbolized by her ribbon.

Uh oh … I’m already in love with this perfume (or at least this campaign). Launching next month, Ricci Ricci is a “fresh, floral sensual fragrance” that features notes of rhubarb zest, bergamot, moonflower, tuberose, centifolia rose, patchouli and sandalwood. The base note is the beautiful and mysterious flower, Belle-de-Nuit (‘beauty of the night’, if my broken French is still good). The inspiration for the scent is exactly what the campaign suggests – frolicking around Paris looking fabulous, obviously!

I’m not too sure of the fragrance – Nina Ricci wanted this to be a mature scent, so maybe I’m not the target audience – but the bottle and advertisement is so naughty yet classy, don’t you think? I know I shouldn’t succumb to beautiful advertising but I have to hunt this down and try it!
