Supermodel Jessica Stam Shares Her Favorite Makeup and Beauty Products

Anyone who’s ever picked up a magazine should know supermodel Jessica Stam (or, anyone’s who read this post). She is a Canadian SUPERmodel and if you look at the definition of “fierce” in the dictionary, you’ll see her face. (Sorry Tyra.) Jessica revealed to Style.com, Vogue’s online home all about what’s in her makeup bag and I just had to share!

  • AmorePacific Treatment Cleansing Tissue: “I love to use these when I’m traveling – which is quite often for my job. They’re perfect on airplanes to talk off makeup or just refresh. The entire line is awesome.”
  • Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer: “I love this product. It looks dewy and fresh, like you’re not wearing any makeup, but still covers your skin. It gives such an even complexion.” (Great choice! I love this product as well.)
  • Aquaphor Healing Ointment: “I can’t live without my Aquaphor. It’s hydrating and non-irritation and has a million uses. I use it for everything. Lips, cracked cuticles, hands, and to take off eye makeup.”
  • Maybelline Cool Effect Cooling Shadow/Liner in Ice Princess: “I used to wear this in highschool, so it brings me back to my roots. It gives my eye a light pink iridescent glow.”
  • Mario Badescu Vitamin E Body Lotion with Wheat Germ: “I hate the feeling of dry skin. I carry this around with me at all times. It’s so rich and thick and smells delicious; it reminds me of hot summer nights in the Hamptons.”
  • Klorane Extra Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Extract: “A great on-the-go shampoo for when you realize that your hair is a little greasier than you thought. It also adds volume and is perfect to use before walking into meetings for a quick primp.”
  • CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain in #400: “It’s like applying a felt-tip pen to your lips- so easy to use, and it seriously stains your lips in a natural way. No gloss, just a wash of sheer color.”
  • Dior DiorShow Iconic Mascara in Black: “This is the classic mascara. It builds volume and also separates. I just love how black it is.”
  • Chanel Glossimer in #3: “Chanel beauty ambassador Jen Brill introduces me to this shade. It’s a universal pink that brings out the natural color of my lips.”
  • MAC Strada Blush: “I use it as a contouring powder. It’s a tip I picked up from makeup artist Pat McGrath. It’s a way to define my cheekbones.”
  • Anastasia Brow Wiz in Ash Blonde: “My friend Jenny Cohen introduced me to this product. She swears by Anastasia and her brow goodies. Filling in your brows always make you look more finished, polished and put together. This crayon-tpe pencil is the perfect color; I use it everyday with my laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer.”

Alright, I only typed up her favorite makeup products but if you’d like to find out what she uses on her hair, skin; or her armpits (?!) check out the slideshow at Style.com for more.

What do you think of Jessica’s choices? Do you use any of the products she talked about as well? :)

It’s really great, Meli. Ridiculously expensive but if it helps mine is 1.5 years old and nowhere near done… but I use very little and only a few times a week, so it depends on how often you wear makeup? My friend used it everyday and it was done in 7 months :S If you don’t wear makeup too often like me this is WELL worth it, promise!

I wonder if It´s good for oily skin?!

There’s an oil free version, so get that! The original is dewy and there’s an illuminating one, which i can imagine is very bad for oily skin – we don’t want to illuminate the oil even more! I use the oil-free one and it’s great, but you need an extra layer of loose powder on top because it tends to look a bit oily after awhile. But it really is a fantastic product! :D

Hello Renee,

I live in Singapore too and I love reading your blog. I am a makeup junkie too but haven’t ventured into the world of blogging (yet!). Is the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer available here?

Would be lovely to meet up one of these days :)

Hey Fizz, that’ll be cool! Thank you for visiting, I’m so happy to have you. :)

Yes, LM is sold here – it’s available in True Colors at Ngee Ann City, B1 I think. I think it’s called True Colors, it’s the makeup shop near the escalator opposite Guess. :) Warning though, they mark up the prices A LOT so it’s really expensive :(
