Aging gracefully is a big YES-YES for all women. I understand Boto is used for many medical reasons but having a permanent, shocked look on your face doesn't make you look any younger! :-P

Totally agree with you both - Amanda, aging gracefully is the way to go. I heard that quote, too! When you age gracefully, you actually look way younger than someone who has botox, a facelift and whatnot. Everyone ages, why go against it? You're only fooling yourself! My friend and I always joke that at 40 we will both have twin botox sessions but it's def a joke - I am petrified of needles and do not take well to pain :-P Haha.

Yup, Sunmom, overphotoshopped photos are just doing more harm than good. And then when you see them in candid photos it's like, WHAT!?

definitely! it wouldn't be nice if like, you get to see celebrities personally when they go out and they look different from how they're displayed in magazines...moreover, it gives readers a negative impression on beauty!

I LOVE IT!

I read a quote somewhere that really resonated with me: If someone from an alien race got ahold of one of our magazines as a representation of what humans are like, they'd think we have no women over 40. (I'm loosely paraphrasing here :) ) Once I read that, I started really paying attention, and it's true! How often do we see anyone featured with laugh lines, sagging skin, age spots, etc? Yet we ALL get them eventually, so why do we try so hard to pretend otherwise?

I think aging gracefully is one of the most honest, beautiful things a woman can do. Not only would I buy a magazine that revealed that, I'd buy it BECAUSE it did.

Hey girls, I'm glad you all found this cover beautiful and accepted it. I def think this "difference" in magazine covers should be celebrated! :D
