Ricci Ricci is an urban heroine.
She is glamorous and audacious.
She has a secret power: her fragrance,
symbolized by her ribbon.

Uh oh … I’m already in love with this perfume (or at least this campaign). Launching next month, Ricci Ricci is a “fresh, floral sensual fragrance” that features notes of rhubarb zest, bergamot, moonflower, tuberose, centifolia rose, patchouli and sandalwood. The base note is the beautiful and mysterious flower, Belle-de-Nuit (‘beauty of the night’, if my broken French is still good). The inspiration for the scent is exactly what the campaign suggests – frolicking around Paris looking fabulous, obviously!

I’m not too sure of the fragrance – Nina Ricci wanted this to be a mature scent, so maybe I’m not the target audience – but the bottle and advertisement is so naughty yet classy, don’t you think? I know I shouldn’t succumb to beautiful advertising but I have to hunt this down and try it!

What are your thoughts on this new fragrance? And how gorgeous is this ad campaign?! I’m always in love with anything black, white and pink, as you can probably tell. ;)

Merci Krib! Ten years of French did me good, lol!

Not sure about that perfume you mentioned but personally I have not seen it before :( I’m not very familiar with Nina Ricci scents, the last one I can remember was the one in shape of an apple? :-P

Heya Renee! :)

I have never heard of it but the advert picture looks good!
Frangrances are always a delicate matter and very personal, but since you’re recommending it I’ll have to get you to send me a sample ;)

*smiles*

Have an awesome day miss!

Actually, “les belles de ricci” is in a strange twisted bottle ^^
Ten years of french ! Is it true that this is hard to learn ? Because I’ve heard foreigners saying that it was hard because of the tenses and their irregularities !

Krib – Ah OK, nope I haven’t seen that perfume :( Not yet at least!

Yup, ten years! I find French quite easy compared to the other European languages – in highschool I was forced to do Spanish but I just couldn’t get it, and I looked at Italian, German, etc, and it looks impossible! So French for me is quite easy, but I think it’s because I have been doing it for so long! Haha. I’m OK with the tenses, etc, but then again my French is quite bad so maybe my grammar is all wrong! I feel I can write better than I can speak, my pronunciation is horrible! :-P
