LV: I completely agree with you - one should just age gracefully! I really don't believe in going through extremes to trying to capture your youth again.

Jen: First of all thank you for your comment and your suggestions. I need to edit the article - sunscreen should be number one on that list! I can't believe I completely forgot about it - see, definitely a fool :-P

Early 20s and already getting Botox! That's insane!

I have to get used to applying sunscreen everyday. May I ask which one you use? I actually bought one after seeing it mentioned in Allure a million times but it is a very weird formula, it kinda peels off. Perhaps I should write a post on it and see if others have the same problem and any suggestions.

I really agree with you on the tanning. I know a few girls my age who love to tan and you can definitely see a difference in their skin. Self tanners all the way! ;)

And Jen, you seriously do not look anywhere near 40!

It is so hard facing 40 without giving into Botox. I am always surprised when a very young woman (in her early 20's) receives injections on a regular basis.

My beauty skin advice that goes right along with your suggestions is to protect your skin by using sunscreen and antioxidant-rich skin products. And avoid the urge to tan! I truly wish I had avoided this as a young adult. Now I am spending a lot of time trying to un-do the past sun damage to my face.

Excellent post, and you are no fool when it comes to beauty!

LOLz @ Jackie's comment.

anyway, I started using anti-aging products when I turned 22. Aging has always scared me out of my wits, but there really is nothing I can do about it but to grin and go through with it gracefully.
