Like the rest of the world, going to the cinema and watching a movie is one of my favorite things to do with my friends. And though I’m not really into celebrity gossip, I do scour style blogs for fashion inspiration from red carpet events… but you all know I’m looking at the makeup looks more than anything! ;)
Anyway, the recent MTV Movie Awards brought copious amounts of posts on the red carpet looks … but it’s time to talk makeup! Here are some of my favorite beauty looks.
Once again, my girl crush of the century Kristen Stewart takes home best hair and makeup for me. She seems to be doing a subtle version of her signature eye makeup that I adore on her and it always works for her – it always brings out her beautiful eye color. And I have to give her long ponytail some love – I’m a ponytail girl, so I really love this look! A messy, casual ponytail makes your ‘formal’ attire look a little more casual and effortlessly chic. Bah… there are no words – perfection!
I admit that I didn’t love Vicky Christina Barcelona like everyone else, but you can’t deny that Scarlett is a beauty. She’s back to blonde (and I think I prefer her best at blonde, but who’s asking!) and the color really compliments her complexion. Her makeup is really simple with strong definition on her eyes, which I really like. And I spy with my little eye… is that Nars Orgasm on her cheeks?! This is probably the perfect date makeup – the hair and makeup is effortlessly sexy.
THAT HAIR! When I saw this picture of Jessica Biel I almost wanted to go and dye the ends of my hair a lighter color. Almost. The cut is perfect too. Not sure if it’s extensions (probably is, though) but that is some beautiful, healthy looking hair. (The complete opposite of mine, in other words.) Overall she looks like she’s going to an office party so her makeup is not too exciting, but she’s so naturally beautiful she doesn’t really need anything! Another favorite of mine last night.
Here’s a little known fact about me: I used to really like Nicky Hilton. Like, a lot. When the whole Hilton Sistes/Nicole Richie/The Simple Life craze came about some years ago, every one of my guy friend were crushing on Paris, and my female friends crushing on Nicole’s style. However, I was looking more at Nicky. For one thing, she seemed the most sane out of the bunch. And another is that I really like her style. She does ‘casual’ perfectly. I’ve stopped following her style, but when I saw this picture of her it brought back a flood of memories! I think the slightly messy side braid is so chic, and her strong liquid eyeliner… well, you know how much I adore eyeliner so this beauty look is a hit in my book. ;)

I liked Kristen’s look the best, the hair extensions really suit her when she has it up in a pony tail. Why does she have to have such awesome eyes? But I also liked Elizabeth Reasers look :)
Yeah, I agree with you Chloe! Longer hair def looks the best on her. And yes, her eyes are amazing, I especially love the color. :)

She plays Esme in the Twilight Series, if you look at the MTV Movie Award pictures you’ll see her. But Kristen will be going blonde temporarily for her next role (another thing: she seems to look good in nearly any hair colour XD).
Ah! OK I know her, thank you. She’s really beautiful too, I think she was perfect for her role. I’ll have to go check the pictures again!
And yeah, Kristen looks really good in any haircolor! What’s your favorite on her? I really liked that light brown/reddish color she had at last year’s MTV movie awards, I think she wore a red dress? That color looks really lovely on her!
I think my favourite is when she goes red/brown too, she pulls off blonde well though and her black hair was nice once it grew out a bit. I think my favourite though is at a Twilight Q&A event where she presented Paramore on stage, and she’s wearing a red striped blazer :)
Kristen looks amazing, I agree. she was perfect for the role in Twighlight. After all she wears such a simple look, sexy and genuine in the same time. I think she looks a little bit better with lighter hair colors, much more feminine.

I agree Nicky was the one who looked normal, (I cant believe I used to watch that “reality show”) And she doesnt dress like a 4 yr old little girl like Paris does, still these days… I loved her side braid!!!!=D
I loved Scarlett´s hair!!!! It looks amazing, but I would never try on myself because it takes way TOO MUCH hairspray to build that, and u know how hars it´s to wash it off ur hair, it takes forever!!!!! But it was my favorite! Jessica Biel´s hair is something beyond my comprehension, she should wear her hair like that everyday! Her make up is always disappointing…
