Hi! Can someone pls recommend a good dermatologist in Singapore. I am relatively new & have been having major issues with my skin of late( huge open pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines on forehead & around my eyes). Am 36 & have a 9 month old to run after so really haven't had much time for myself at all. I generally use dermalogica as I have very sensitive skin. Recently started using Lancome Genefique for eyes & face - it seems to help my eyes but no effect on my face :( please help either suggesting a good dermatologist or a really good serum & sun block. Many thanks!

Hey Fifi!

the milia seeds are due to too much moisture I believe, perhaps what you've been using had too much oil content for your skin to take? You may want to switch to something that is less hydrating, especially with anti anging products. Though the logic is that if you use something made for someone with serious wrinkles in, say, their 50s, hoping it will work even better on you, most cases it won't. The ingredients for products made for those older than us usually causes reactions and milia seeds. For example, I used an eye cream made for serious aging around the eyes, those for 45+ of age. It stung like crazy, made my eyes water and felt like it was burning my skin. I gave the product to my Mom, and she adores it.

So what I'm trying to say is that when using anti aging products, use those suited for your age group. I really like this iS Clinical's Active Serum, so I would def recommend it. From what I can tell, you use so little product each time I don't think it will cause milia seeds - but you never know. You may want to try out a sample vial? As far as the hydra cool serum, I'm afraid I have no recs on that as I haven't tried it myself. Perhaps you can go to the sales clerk and be very firm in saying that you want something suited for your age group and that you have a problem with milia seeds.

Fifi, I hope I helped a little! Let me know how it goes :D

Hey, sisters!!
I discovered this site by doing research on IS Clinical product... I have heard good things from a 40dish woman.
Anyway, I am 27... dont have wrinkle problems yet... but always had a few millia/syringoma ard my upper eyelid and under my eyes, also I have very sensitive/thin skin.
Will IS clinical active serum worsen/improve the problem? Also I have heard about IS Clinical Hydra-Cool Serum. What you guys think about that? Which one should I pick? Thanks a lot!!

Hey Kel! Thanks so much, I'm glad to have you here! :)

I know iS Clinical is available at the Pacific Wellness Center, at Paragon Orchard. However if you already see someone for your skin, you could ask them too; I think there are quite a bit of dermatologists who sell it at their office.

I'm 21 too! We may be a little early (I was told anti aging should start at 23-25), but I always feel the earlier, the better, :-P Just make sure that whatever anti aging products you do start with are the "beginner" ones, as advanced formulas might irritate your young skin! I am loving the serum so far, I def recommend you try it out and see how you like it. :)

I recently discovered your site and I love it! I find all of your reviews very helpful. I've been meaning to try serums for a while now. Do you know where I am able to get iS Clinical products in Singapore? I'm only 21, do you think its necessary for me?

I adore serums. I began using them in the last year or so as I started to see the first signs of aging (little lines around my eyes). I stick to the ones with antioxidants for the free radical protection.

Regarding Tavia's comment, I not aware of any serums with SPF. That would be pretty pointless, because serums are meant to be used as a first step. You'd likely rub away the SPF protection if you applied something else on top.

Hey Tavia!

Yup, no SPF - but I believe this is a night time serum? I'm not sure, but I assumed it was so I've been only using it at night. I think a serum once a day is fine, no?

What anti-aging products are you using? :)
