The best advice was "moisturize your skin as much as possible"...I can already see the improvement and I've also been drinking lots and lots of water! Thanks again!!

Hey Mary. Welcome back! Hope you had a good time at camp :)

The skin isn't as "fresh" after a tan because as we all know, the sun is very bad for the skin! No worries though - in terms of your foundation, once your tan goes, your foundation will suit you again. In the meantime, when you go out, please apply sunscreen!

In the meantime, do moisturize your skin as much as possible; the sun damages and ages the skin greatly that may include sun spots, wrinkles and fine lines. So definitely moisturize regularly in this time to "make up" for the times in the sun!

As far as not looking fresh: wait until your tan goes, moisturize, wear sunscreen, get lots of beauty sleep, and to 'fake' it in the meantime, try a nice light colored blush to wake your skin up. :)

Hope I helped! If you have anymore questions feel free to ask Mary :)

Hi Renee! I enjoy reading your blog, I seem to learn something new all the time. This is definitely helpful especially after this summer. I just got back from 4 days of camping in the sun and I'm definitely tanned. My color of my foundation doesn't look good on me and my face is not looking very fresh...I'm in desperate need of a makeover, any advice?
