How Do I Get Rid of Cellulite?

Sorry ladies – the answer is you can’t. I just saw this episode online some time ago and just had to pass on the bad news, so don’t believe any miracle creams or gimmicks!

There is nothing on the market that will help get rid of cellulite, despite it being a $3 billion dollar industry today. If anything, these creams and procedures mask the surface of the skin temporarily, and they don’t last.

The problem with cellulite is that the cause is not on the surface – the fat cells swell as they suck in fat to grow larger, which causes the look and feel of cellulite. So to get to the ‘root’ of the problem, you’d have to get to your fat cells!

The famous Dr. Oz said it perfectly on Oprah: ‘You can’t put a cream on and get inside the fat cell.’

The photo above is Dr. Oz explaining on Oprah how cellulite comes about. ”It looks like a huge marshmallow,” Dr. Oz says. “And these marshmallows begin to touch each other. And as they touch each other, they begin to push bigger and bigger and bigger molds of this stuff. … You put all this together, guess what happens? Cellulite.”

Darn it! Makes sense to me - any thoughts?

Oh I know that product! I felt it gave skin a taunt feeling, but yeah, it won’t help with the cellulite! :(

Oh no…you just crushed my hope, and now I’m feeling devastated *sob* LOL. Just joking! =P

I love Dr. Oz. He’s so fun to watch. And explains everything very well.
Haha…after tyring a few creams and “techniques” (which all end up being useless)…I have sort of suspected that they will never work. Sigh…

Oh no, sorry to hear Kaye. I’ve also read exercise only helps a little bit. Not too sure what options there are left… Cellulite is evil! Maybe I should do another post on available options to try.

And I’ll go check your contest out right now! :)

Don’t want it to be true. All of us are looking for that miracle that might be out there somewhere. But what some of us don’t think about along with trying to get that body by using chemicals on our skin and in our bodies we are doing much harm to ourselves than good.

First time to your blog. Like the title- “Beauty Fool”.

I totally agree with Dr. Oz. Cellulite can’t be eliminate with just a bottle of cream. After studying cellulite for months, I realized that it can be ‘relief’ but not really disappearing it. Natural methods to relief it are such as exercise regularly, have a healthy lifestyle, massage the areas often. Many individuals have reported that it improve the situation. Sad news is that none of them mentioned it could totally gone. But relieving is better. And this can be easily done by living a healthy lifestyle.

Saw Dr. Oz show – walked out the room to check on my boiling water, when I got back the cellulite part of the show was over. Later, Checked the doctoroz.com section on cellulite and he talks about genes and methods that don’t work, on a topic about how to get rid of cellulite. His article was confusing.
