Heidi Klum (whose husband Seal enjoys a good pedicure, as we’ve discussed!) has joined forces with beauty experts at Guthy-Renker and created In An Instant, a new skin care system that targets skin’s every need – exfloation, hydration, wrinkle reduction, lifting, firming, and pore minimizing.

The line promises to to detoxify and guard against premature aging skin, hydrate dry skin, and minimize fine lines.

This innovative skin care system, developed with cutting-edge anti-aging ingredients instantly treats, dimishes and prevents wrinkles, large pores and skin imperfections, while building benefits over time.

One application, instant results!

Products include a Gentle Foaming Cleanser, Intensive Firming Serum, Instant Wrinkle Smoother, Instant Daily Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15, Instant Warming Scrub.

Of course I’m skeptical – don’t all dermatologists say that your skincare products need a full 6 weeks to work?

At only $29.95, it’s worth a try?!

I watched the infomercial and decided to try it for the half price offer. I called up and only after I gave out all my personal information, including my credit card number, did they reveal that it was a club membership and I’d be on a recurring payment plan for a 90 day supply. When I declined and asked for just the offer that was on the commercial I was told the only way to get it was through the club membership and I could mail back the 90 day supply if I wasn’t satisfied. I clearly said no thanks but now I am worried I will get the order anyway because they had already taken my information. I don’t want to have to deal with shipping costs to send back something I didn’t even want. I wanted to try one product and if it is as amazing as they say it is I’d buy more. That marketing strategy is not only a bait and switch but doesn’t bode well for how well the product works. Other products don’t have to use sneaky tactics to sell because they sell themselves. I tried to give feedback to the call representative and was told the only way to complain was through an address with a hand written letter. No email. That says they are trying to minimize negative feedback by making it as hard as possible to complain. That is why I chose to write here…to warn people. Heidi Klum this is a terrible PR move on your part. You’ve attached your name to a sketchy marketing scheme and I now think for you it’s all about the money whenever I see you.

Hey Tozz, thanks for sharing. :) Sorry to hear it didn’t work out for you, at least you didn’t spend any money on anything yet! (And if they do send you an order maybe you can tell your credit card company about it.) The whole “snail mail only” for complaints is really weird, like you said, they must have a lot of negative feedback! Hope it all works out for you and thanks for sharing once again.

Good to know! I had the same experience with RezV AND AminoGenesis products – BAIT and SWITCH! BEWARE! Check out Rip off reports.com first!

Just minutes ago i’ve experianced the EXACTLY the same thing like Tozz11. After watching the infomercial, I called and the representetive quickly took my information and credit card number and then told me that it is a club membership that they will send me more so on so forth. I immedieatly cancelled my order, BUT i’m really worried what they are gonna do …. Very unpleasant way of sellinf stuff, very dissatified!

I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you too, Karmen. :( How disappointing to hear all this! Did they ever process the order for you without your consent, since they have your credit card number?

I never buy things off of television, but since I’m 35 and noticing fine lines, the skin care line sounded intriguing. I received my kit (for $39) within two days. I really wanted to like this skin care line, and I really like Heidi Klum, but this stuff is TERRIBLE. The list of ingredients are a mile long and the products have a bad odor. The serum made my normal skin break out (I’ve never had a product make me break out) and the tinted moisturizer cream made my skin look like it had a bad sunburn. I cannot believe that Heidi would endorse these products, and I’d be really surprised if she put them on her face.

Hey Tracie, thanks for your input. It’s great to hear someone actually received their product, from the comments above something seemed a little sketchy in terms of ordering. Thanks for filling us all in, I haven’t tried any of the products myself, so it was nice of you to tell us your experience, even if it was a terrible one! Hope your skin clears up and you find a better skin care regime soon. :)

I have been using this product for almost a year now and I LOVE IT! There is no unsual odor to it an it did no make me break out. To be honest with you, these are the first makeup creams that I could not feel on my face at all. I put both the firming serum and the tinted moisturizer on my face everyday and my face feels like it has nothing on. It makes your face feel clean and smooth. P.S. I’ve tried every infomercial out there (cindy crawford, jane seymore, bare essentials and I’m sure a few more that I can’t remember) and this is, by far, the best that I have tried. I hope to be using it for a long, long time.

thanks for the ratings….I hate the club plan for any product….if the product does what it says it does then people will use it. I decided to just keep using my Young Living Oil ART skin care products until I can try IAI…..for one low fee and not for 3 months…come on Heidi…..help us out here.

I really wanted to like this stuff and in the beginning my skin did look smoother and I actually liked the way my particular complexion coloring came out with the tinted moisturizer…but the wrinkle smoother did nothing (not that I was expecting a miracle, but it did absolutely nothing as they toted on the infomercial), I found the foaming cleanser very drying and made my face feel tight and dry and my forehead flaked up so much, not to mention the fact that now my face is breaking out unbelievably and at 48 that’s crazy! This all happened after just two weeks of use. I agree the smells are not good…to me, the tinted moisturizer smelled like paint!

I’ve always thought Heidi Klum was beautiful and she still is, but recently (before I had purchased the In and Instant) I saw her on a commercial for her new season of shows and I actually thought to myself, “gee, she’s really starting to show her age” …like all of us. I really noticed the wrinkles around her eyes. I guess that should’ve been my first clue not to buy this product or at the very least, that it doesn’t do what they say it does.

Heidi seems like such a sweet lady and I’m sure she is. She’d be disappointed to know so many people are not happy with this product.

Oh! On a positive note. I just cancelled my “membership” this morning and the woman on the phone was very pleasant and said I would not be charged anything further then the original $39.95 for the trial kit I received and has cancelled my membership. (I assume this went smoothly because my first 90 day shipment wasn’t due to ship until June 10th and I’m calling well in advance of that.)

i purchased this product about 6 weeks ago and i really like it. i agree, the whole membership and ordering was a pain, but they were very flexible in terms of spacing out shipments (i am having my 90 day supply replaced every 6 months, as i don’t use it at night). my skin seems tighter and smoother. my sister now uses it and likes it. the smell is kinda yuck and the “instant” instant reducer is not worth much, but i love the cleanser, warming face scrub, serum, and tinted moisturizer. i think it’s worth a try.

I have tried almost every infomercial on tv and have found ‘In and Instant’ to be the best so far.
I started using these products last year and then they stopped coming to my door. little did I know that my credit card was expired. I am going to reorder today because I’m out of the ‘instant’ reducer, which I love, and almost out of the tinted moisturizer, which I love as well.
