Dolce & Gabbana are releasing their very first makeup line at the end of January, 2009.
Collaborated with Procter & Gamble Prestige Products and makeup artist Pat McGrath, who works the makeup at the D&G fashion shows, the line has been in the making for several years.
YES!! I cannot wait! I’m really excited that Italian fashion houses are starting to carry makeup lines (Like Giorgio Armani), and D&G is one of my favorite brands (to look at of course, as if I can afford all that! :-P)
Also, Light Blue is one of my favorite beauty products design-wise. If their makeup packaging is anywhere as classy as their designs of their fragrances, you can bet I will go crazy and want everything available just because it looks nice. (Sigh, and I studied marketing – I should know better!)
A rumored Hollywood star is set to be the face of the makeup line. I have a sneaky feeling it is Scarlett Johansson, who has recently shot a campaign for the brand, though details of the shoot are unknown right now.
