CLINIQUE-LASH-POWER-CURLING-MASCARA

Oh dear. Virtuôse, the love of my life for the past year, and I may have to break up. I have found someone else. It’s sad, but life is like that. After my guest review on Clinique’s Lash Power mascara and the positive comments on it, I ran off to town and bought myself the Curling version.

I’m torn! Lash Power is close to perfect. I’m very amazed how I can fall asleep, sweat, walk through rain, spend more than 12 hours with it – not one smudge; yet it washes off easily with warm water. Lash power indeed! Also, it gives great length and can create either a natural, day look (one coat) or mad lengthening and drama (3 coats). The only thing is that Virtuôse has more of a thickening, darker color.

In other words – this is a great mascara, I highly recommend you try it out.

Any comments on this mascara?

(UPDATE: OK, I’ve been using this for almost a month now, and while I still agree with what I wrote above, I still crave the dark, thickening power of Virtuôse, so I’m back to that one.)

As much as I love a good long lasting mascara, unlike what you said Beautyfool, I hate mascaras that you keep on after crying, showering, sleeping then going out, etc… I think it’s a good thing that although I want long lasting, I also want to be able to remove it easily. I’m currently using a Maybelline Mascara which I love but i’m not going to buy it again because it’s too hard to remove everytime even though it’s not a waterproof… So every night before sleep, it’s like you have to press the eye and stuff…
too irritating for a person like me who loves to sleep without any makeup on and with loads of lovely creams on my face… haha

Oops – I just added that it is very easy to come off with warm water. Forgot about it!

I also share your dislike for waterproof mascaras, it is a hassle removing them and I don’t like the way I’d lose a few eyelashes each time! Lash Power washes off easily with warm water or normal makeup remover, thank goodness :)
