Clinique Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine Review

My opinion on lip gloss is that it’s only for special occasions, because they are a sticky mess, tend to flake after a while, and needs constant reapplying. :( One day, I randomly decided I wanted to buy a clear lip gloss, so I went to get Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine by Clinique because we heard so many good things about it - and trust me, this little thing really lives up to its name!
Full Potential is said to “instantly create a fuller, lusher look and a plush effect for hours with its triple action plumping effect.”
“Triple action”? No idea what that means!
I bought Pure Plump, which is the clear color, and it looks amazingly shiny over lipstick or bare lips. It really gave the illusion of full, shiny lips, whether or not it is actually ‘plumping’ up lips. It also stayed on a little longer than usual and didn’t flake until a good two hours. Good enough for me - I highly recommended this! (Although I can only speak for the clear gloss, we have no idea how the colored ones look like).

Ooh, a lipgloss!
does this means u’re gonna get a those sexy kissable lips like Angelina Jolie’s…
Wow-wee!!!
Groan. While I don’t doubt that this lipgloss does a little of the ’sting’ look to the lips, the only way any gal can get lips like Angelina is from a needle. Boo :-(
Does anyone know if it does have that burning sensation? I have found a good one by Urban Decay but it is clear, this would be a nice alternative.. Thanks
Hey Marie,
I’m afraid that there is a slight burning sensation, like with all lip plumpers. But this one isn’t as bad as some other I’ve tried! :)
