Clinique Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine Review
April 30, 2008

My opinion on lip gloss is that it’s only for special occasions, because they are a sticky mess, tend to flake after a while, and needs constant reapplying. :( One day, I randomly decided I wanted to buy a clear lip gloss, so I went to get Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine by Clinique because we heard so many good things about it - and trust me, this little thing really lives up to its name!
Full Potential is said to “instantly create a fuller, lusher look and a plush effect for hours with its triple action plumping effect.”
“Triple action”? No idea what that means!
I bought Pure Plump, which is the clear color, and it looks amazingly shiny over lipstick or bare lips. It really gave the illusion of full, shiny lips, whether or not it is actually ‘plumping’ up lips. It also stayed on a little longer than usual and didn’t flake until a good two hours. Good enough for me - I highly recommended this! (Although I can only speak for the clear gloss, we have no idea how the colored ones look like).

Pure & Petal Heavenly Clean Hair Fragrance Review
April 27, 2008
Who wants great smelling hair? I know I do! And with Pure & Petal Hair Fragrances, you can cheat. Their hair fragrances are light enough to be worn on your hair and won’t interfere with your regular fragrance.
Pure & Petal hair fragrances also have silk protein and provitamin B5, and is alcohol and silicone free - which means that it won’t damage, dry or weigh your hair down. A big plus for me!
I tried the 4 ‘flavors’ available, but have to say that Heavenly Clean fragrance is my favorite, and that this is pretty much the epitome of clean smelling hair with its lemon, citrus smell.
Described as “air dried in the summer breeze with a hint of fruity floral notes”, this scent is like fresh and clean laundry, but not in a detergent kind of way.
Lancôme Virtuôse Mascara Review
April 25, 2008

Lancôme’s latest mascara, Virtuôse, is slowly becoming my favorite mascara. I’ve always loved Lancôme mascaras, so when I heard about this, I had to get off my butt and buy one!
Virtouse is a Lancôme first, with its CurlGuard formula which promises to “lengthen and hold a divine lash curve for 12 hours.” Its curved KeepCurl brush “provides an outstanding eyelash curler effect.” And it’s long lasting formula is “virtually smudge proof, tear proof and easily removable.”
Benefit Boi-ing Concealer Review
April 24, 2008
When my beloved Clinique concealer finished and I was just too lazy to go to town and stock up, I found an old Boi-ing I had hidden somewhere. (It was disgusting - it’s at least two years old and the top layer was crust.) Anyways, I cleaned it up and it was as good as new.
Benefit claims that Boi-ing is the “world’s best concealer” and right now I would agree.
Boi-ing is a little drying, so my advice is to warm it with your fingertips so the product is a little more “wet” and to dap it lightly on your skin, rather than rubbing in. I know some have trouble finding the right shade because it only comes in three colors - I use 01 Light, and while it’s a bit too light for me, apply some loose powder (or foundation, pressed powder, whatever you use) and the color will blend in really well.
Now I just don’t know whether to go ahead and buy more Boi-ing or Clinique Derma White - I now have two favorites!
